I have been collecting in the "classic" era for 25 years now. Before then when I was still keeping up with the new stamps every year, I used to just get my newly issued stamps from the Philatelic Counter at my local Post Office (remember those days?). No more Philatelic Counters for me, so...

Where online or elsewhere do you find the new stamps for the new year and get them selectively (if you want to get most, but not all of them)? And I would be after singles, not whole panes or sheets. Is it even possible anymore?

I've seen dealers on the bay who sell "year sets" for example '2012 Commemorative Year Set', but it seems that they charge anywhere from 20% to 100% over FV!

The other week I rummaged through the discount postage table at my local stamp show and found a few newer singles, but not much.

I've ordered several times from USPS.com and recently from USPS ebay store (got my new Jennys there), but the problem is most times they don't sell singles, just blocks and/or sheets.

Thanks for the help. I just decided to start a new topic on the problem of finding new stamp singles.
