Hello,

I'm sort of new to stamp collecting. My great aunt got me started when I was a kid in the 80's. I have since inherited her collection with stamps dating back to the 1800's. I am just now getting around to sorting through them. I'm interested in their value, and ideas for creative ways to display them. I look forward to learning more!

Laura :)

Welcome Laura76, You are indeed getting ready to go on a thrilling journey. You will need to get some stamp catalogs to start identifying what you have and of course their worth. Purchasing some blank manilla stamp holders is always good, plus some varios to protect the ones you will display. There is many topics on the boards to choose from. Type in the search field top right button, to bring the specific topics up. Hope this helps. The treasure hunt begins :) Gary

Hello Laura76, welcome to Stamp Community!

If you can scan or photo your stamps and then post them or place them on a topic you atrt in the appropriate forum, And put a tile in that tells people what kind of stamp(s) you want help with, you will attract the peole who know what they are talking about in regard to your stamps.

I myself know a bit about everything, just enough to get in trouble.

Asking questions is good also. We need to learn ourselves sometimes.
