It is interesting that Colonel who has sent the letters, have made a censor's approval on his own letters.

I suppose that privilege had only the higher-ranked officers.

Interesting letters are enclosed... I will scan them, too.. if someone likes to read.

Neat! I love the WWI handstamps as well as any enclosed correspondence. Great stuff.

it is good that I am don't playing darts, because I AGAIN missed the correct subforum... US BOB instead US covers... possibly ADMIN will remove it on the right place. This is really not a BOB stuff.

If that last cover is dated MAY 1918 (my eyes cannot see it clearly) then it will one the very first ever to have the MPES handstamp.
A letter with it might be dated so that would confirm.

This is the May 1919...

handstamps are overused and worn... on the very first letters, the hanstamps will be (I suppose) more neat, like on the first cover :)
