Hi
This is my first post. Just wondering if what are people's fav stamp from the post 1950's to 2013?

USPS is selling a ton on ebay.

I just purchased almost the entire USPS stamps sheets from 197-=2012 a total of $25,000 in face. And I have noticed that the price is almost book for some of them on ebay. I will wait for my 50 posts to list my doubles.

Also I hope everyone on here is happy. The stamp clubs, the four I go to are a real bore these days.

Joe

Hi Joe, You won't be able to list anything for sale or trade until 100 quality posts and 60 days as a member. At least that's what I've read in the rules. I have to wait for that myself just to trade some of my stamps. I really not into this hobby for the money. I have one family member to keep my collections going after I go. This way hopefully it will help someone out who really needs the money in the family somewhere. Respectfully, Gary

I am not into the hobby for the money but trying to complete a country is expensive. I focus on a series and collect all the cancels. Its great fun and real collecting to me. Then I know a ton about the paper, perfs and everything else. I resell postage for 80% right now. About $1500-2000 a month so that helps. I buy around 50% then were I pull out all the better and errors it becomes around 20-30%. Still waiting to find a major error. The bugs bunny imperf sheets helped to lower the face price. What % would you pay for unchecked?

Hi Joe I would probably pay 60% for unchecked. But how can we really know they are unchecked. I have always been suspicious of those who state, "Not been checked" on there description. But I have also found quite a few nicely centered and good looking stamps,10 to 20 dollar type stamps. Gary
