The stamp is generally BLUE. The portait of Andrew Jackson in oval center is black. The numeral 7 appears twice at the bottom. There is no word "cents" anywhere on the stamp, nor a symbol of "cents". On the top left is the number 1829. On the top right is the number 1837. In an oval pattern above the image is "7th President of the United States". There is no indication that this stamp was produced in the U.S.A.; therefore we are assuming it was produced elsewhere. OR, maybe it is not a POSTAGE stamp, but something else? Any leads you can give us will help. Thanks, Gigi.

I think it is from the US Presidents set of labels that H.E. Harris used to include in the Liberty Album stamp collecting kits.

Yep, they came out (I believe) in the early 60s in that design. I have a set from an old collection that only goes up to Kennedy, and as I recall, they eventually went up as far as Nixon, and then a new design came out that was much squarer with just a painting and the name and dates underneath, and no framework.

You could either get them in the worldwide album kit (Traveler, Ambassador, etc.) or as a stand-alone item.

In England, they had a similar thing with the Kings and Queens, from William the Conquerer to Elizabeth II.
