This stamp I believe is only listed in orange coloring. The coloring on this stamp appears to be more of a red or red/brown. This is my first Revenue Stamp purchase and I am not to familiar with these. Comments please.

This is a typical shade. There were over 458 million of this stamp issued, orange covers a range of shades for it, and it is not the most stable color to start with. It frequently oxidizes (really sulphurizes) and turns brown.
