APS Online Stampstore

If you're a member of APS, what to you think of their online StampStore?

Have you ever used it as buyer or seller?

If not, why not?

I bought some covers 3-4 times last year.

The prices tend to be a little on the high side.
The searching capabilities and user interface are clumsy at best.
The site is desperately in need of a complete overhaul and update.
I remember reading about a year ago an upgrade was in the works for 2008.
If you can deal with the interface you can sometimes find some gems buried in there.

The service is top-notch. The lots arrive very rapidly and I have never had a problem.

I have searched it before, but have never purchased or sold.

I've always felt like the sellers were a little too proud of their material. I've always been able to find as good, or better, for less on StampOffers or StampWants.

that it is a little slow to use - hopefully the '2008' upgrade will fix that problem.

I have been generally satisfied with the product and not particularly shocked by the prices mainly because I have been able to find items there that I couldn't find elsewhere. Also the service is fine and the convenience of shopping all sellers in one store and making a single payment while having an aggregated shipping is often worth the slight premium that I have to pay over other sites. The only real hassle comes in the Search mechanism. It is not user-friendly.

I have used it twice, but only with items I could not find elsewhere. I was happy with the stamps I did receive from them though
