I would like your frank and honest opinions: what do you think of the Collector's Club of Chicago.
Whether you know a lot about that group, very little, or never heard of it, I would like to hear your impressions. If you care to share how you came to feel as you do, that would be nice too, but if you prefer to keep that to yourself, don't let that stop you from responding.
If you would prefer not to post your impressions to the list, then send me a private message, but let me hear from you, good, bad, or indifferent.
Inquiring minds want to know. And thanks.

I came to this thread thinking it would be about the Civilian Conservation Corps. I don't know anything about the other group. |

Sorry Battlestamps, wasn't trying to deceive. Just didn't think about the Corps.
But with a little over 150 reads in four hours and only four replies all negative, that group needs to hear from folks about how connected they are (or not).
Please -- even if you never heard of them, could you reply and say so? Your opinion matters more than you might know.
Or, should I ask the question as a poll? |

I have heard of them.
Many great articles written by them or members about stamps.
The articles were referenced on SCF years ago I nelieve. Comparing glassines, glues, papers, archival properties, etc.
I haven't vidited them online or otherwise, though, for a while now. |

I heard about them. I even thought about trying join. But then again, I don't see me being a contributing member. Besides, it's invitation only, members are expected to be supportive and I live in Georgia and I don't think I could get along with a bunch of Yankee liberals.
Just my thoughts about it. Though, it would be nice to be invited.

I have heard of them. But having easy access to the Collectors Club of New York, I really have no need of their services. If I visited Chicago again I would probably stop by. Sure am glad I'm not in Georgia, though. |

I have heard of them but that's about it. I don't really have an opinion either way. Sorry. |

I'll join the crowd who's never heard of them. I AM familiar with Canadian Club, but the whisky, not collectors. |
