22.25 height is no coincidence. It is the flat plate printing height. The chances that you have a rotary stamp that shrunk to the exact spec as a flat are as slim as finding a 613. It would be awesome, but unlikely. But it's unlikely anyone can pick winning lottery numbers yet someone does everyday.

I still, once in awhile, re check the perfs on my 612 block hoping somehow I measured wrong! lol
That block would make me famous

I still believe that if you look at your stamp image inside the oval around the bust, it is very clean and flat plate appearing.

Hi,I agree it's a flat plate as you guys taught me about but the width measurement is weird,it's on it's way to get graded, what the heck I can afford a few bucks to have it looked at.

Next time you all go to a show, buy a used 610 and a used 612 and study them for a few minutes. The differences will be very obvious.

Rev, very good advice. I tried to show that in my earlier post. Nothing beats having them in your hands for comparison. Scans are tough.

Kevin you're probably correct. I just wasn't comfortable discouraging someone from getting something expertised.
