I noticed some coin collectors have joined the stamp community and got to thinking, what else do members collect besides stamps? I think some folks are born collectors...of anything.

My past (dormant) interests:
- Coins
- Insects ( sent to the grandkids )
- Rocks
- Sand and shells from various beaches
- Penguins - this was not intentional. A couple of family members keep giving them to me, figurines, Christmas ornaments etc.

How many of you are multi-collectors?

I also have a coin collection, but I'm not actively collecting coins at the moment. I like coins a lot, but about a year and a half or so ago when I decided I needed a hobby, I decided that the coins I wanted to collect (Unc US) were too expensive. I have a couple type coing albums that are close to full that I'd like to fill up at some point in the not too distant future.

It would be interesting to see a poll of how many collect just stamps, and what percentage dabble in other interests. What is the most unusual thing to collect?

Sports Memorabilia and baseball cards - mostly Red Sox stuff but here's my favorite non-Red Sox item:

it's actually framed and matted about 2' x 3'

Stamps, Coins and banknotes for me, although I don't really actively collect the banknotes, but they just seem to keep accumulating.

Steve

P.S. anyone that does not want there old coin collections any more, please feel free to send them to me. I will give them a good home.

Welcome sparle8

I was gonna say that I only collect stamps but that would not be entirely true. I collect or should say that I am obsessed with plants.
