Hi to all, I live in NYC where I started collecting in the '60s.
I tend to collect aesthetically, so Slania, Hundertwasser - the latter I cannot find anywhere even though very low Scott value -
and some Czech stamps etc.

Just now I am trying to find what to do with a D2 1/2 cent US postage due - not is Scott, or special Scott US, but was listed
in early Minkus cats...any clues?

And where can one buy stamps in NY - I do go to Holiday Inn and
NYer but where else is good?

Hi Melvyn,
I just wanted to say hello and welcome to the community.
More people will notice your questions if you post them separately,
- choose relevant categories (besides the "Introduce yourself" area),
- use a specific subject line,
- include a photo of the stamp.

Welcome. Good advice above. Start another thread in the U.S. area and you'll get lots of viewers.

You may want to look into Piotr Naszarkowski engraved stamps - he was Slania's closest student. You can see many on his site at
http://web.comhem.se/p.naszarkowski/ and on Facebook look for
Piotr Naszarkowski engraved stamps . He is really good.
