This cover was issued in Los Angeles on 31 October 1944 to celebrate 50 years of motion pictures in Hollywood... that was all the information I could get... Sorry.. Enjoy guys.. By the way, this was a gift from t360... Thx Tom...

Nice cover justabeginner !

Here is a little more info on your cover

The art work on the stamp pays tribute to Thomas Edison and his first moving picture machine the Edison kinetoscope.

Thats a real nice gift !

I can't see this celebration of motion pictures without thinking of Edison who invented both the means of recording motion pictures and of recording sound and made it all possible for those of us who love movies.
