Just want to get opinions on how to value a cover, FDC or other-wise.
I have always used the axiom an FDC is worth 5 times the single cv.
going by Scott that appears to be the case in general. There are exceptions (i.e.-Walt Disney, Baseball,Boy Scouts, and others
I'm sure).
What say you?

I use the Scott First Day Cover Catalog & Checklist, by Michael A Malone. It is a paperback (my 2007 listed at $10.99 - check ebay for copies). It states "The values listed are a reference which reflects recent actual dealer selling prices drawn from retail lists and auction realizations."

Got a 2007 Harris catalogue. Prices are higher than Scott. Got a 2007 Sc. spec. for Christmas. Had a 2007 Brookman but sold it. didn't care for them.
Actually had 3 copies of Scott FDC cat., also sold them. are they still available for $1.99 on Amos advantage.
My subsr. to Linn's ran out Jan.9. Had to choose between APS and Linns.
