If he paid 25K and sells for 75K a 50K profit.
If he paid 25K and sells for 15K per stamp a 65K profit. |

I have purchased about 12 panes so far at different locations. So far no rare pane and I am using the stamps on postage.

According to the Linn's article (2/17 issue), Ross Wiessmann did not buy his pane for $25K. He purchased 300 panes from various post offices and hit the jackpot.
In the same article, Linn's reports that 10 of the 100 panes have been reported. |

This would be one of the easiest decisions of my life. I'd be on the phone to a dealer within minutes of opening the package and seeing the upright plane. I could fix a few things around the house and still put a good dent in my want list. |

300 panes x $12 = $3600
$75k - $3600 = $71,400 profit
6@$15,000/stamp = $90,000- $3600 = $86,400 profit |

For $25K, I would have to sell. Primarily because I think that both the buy & sell prices will drop significantly over time. Sell now ... if I find I really want it at a later date, I could probably buy it back for considerably less. |

Although I would hold, I do believe that prices will eventually stabilise, maybe 10-15K. It will also depend on how many of these sheets phone home and which remain stealth. We'll never know the answer to that.
