Bob - have I told you lately that you are my intellectual inspiration?

There is a special place in Hell for stamp cheats, oil company executives, Madoff, and others like them!

The seller with the auction that Mod posted has APS symbols and a link on that auction........though I didn't see any claim that he's a member.

Either way.........what would the APS think of his claim that "it is worth thousands of dollars" ?

The description is a bit troubling but the suckers are not lining up. So far the bidding at a $10.00 level would certainly seem fair but we'll have to see where it goes over the next few days. One would certainly be shipping a lot of scrap paper in that $22.00 S&H cost.

The first three collections I purchased on ebay a few years ago I overpaid for drastically, mostly because of both deception by sellers and my unfamiliarity with the current market for collections, having been away from stamps for more than 30 years. All were in about the $250 to $300 range, and should have probably sold for half that, at most. But the descriptions were either bogus enough of vague enough to get buyers competing for them. Two were from regular stamp sellers, Roecy and Noble Spirit. One was from a casual seller. I've learned, and have picked up many good deals since.
