Hi everyone, I've had these two stamps for awhile, but I can't find any information on them. Do they have any significant value or are they of little value?

I apologize for the small pictures, my camera has not been working properly lately. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Welcome to Stamp Community Family, RobertELee!

Encased postage was used during the Civil War Era. Your stamps are actually taken from the 1947 CIPEX Souvenir Sheet. It was printed in a different color from the 1847 issue.

So it looks like your "encased postage" was made by somebody for fun(?).

Nice conversation piece, even if not authentic encased postage.

Encased postage Stamps were only used one year, 1862.
