Earlier today a new member posted an example of a #10A with imprint on cover and he/she was wondering if it had any value. The stamp appeared to be 41L0. The thread has inexplicably disappeared and I wonder if the moderators can shed any light on why?

riffsta,

You didn't break any rules but I for one might not have helped if I knew you were just going to delete the thread! Some people are even known to say thank you...

I think you misunderstood. The poster didn't delete his own thread, one of the moderators did and he doesn't know why.

There seems to have been quite a bit of that lately... :(

You could be right and that is what I figured happened in the first place. If that is the case I owe riffsta an apology and I would still like to know why the thread was deleted.

Added: I missed the second post by riffsta. The thread was deleted by the moderator for some unknown reason. Welcome to the SCF!

If they take it down again, we'll know that something fishy is going on. Go ahead and repost it, it's a good looking cover and inquiring minds what to know.
