Happy New Year All.

I came across this #722 strip of three and the flaw in the middle stamp 's' in United States caught my eye. Is this just another case of ink migration or is this a known plate flaw? Thank you in advance for any input.

Don't quit your job! I'm not sure if it's a known flaw but stuff like this is pretty common in the "EFO world" (Errors, Freak & Oddities)It's still a good job of flyspecking though!

Quitting your job at any time is your choice. However, is you plan on financing early retirement based on a piece of lint on a printing plate, you may need professional help. Otherwise, thanks for the chuckle.

Of course I was just kidding. My retirement is based on a substantial investment of Dennison hinges; averaging over 4000% increase in value since 1960. :p

For the record I knew you was kidding around and would NEVER advocate quitting your job based on a stamp posted on an internet forum.
