These postal cards (and several others from this era) were available in sheets, so all kinds of freak cards exist.

Thanks Rev. So they would have been distributed to a customer and the customer would cut them?
I wonder how much space there was between images?

It was an imperf sheet of normal size postcards, but it was easy to create "freak" cards of all kinds. 30 or 40 years ago there were a lot around at shows, there seem to be somewhat less around now. I think more people are aware of them now.

There has been quite a lot of fake miscut definitive postal cards continuing even in to today. Definitive postal cards are sold in sheets for the convenience of printers and unused sheets found their way into the hands of miscreants or mischievous pranksters. However, they are FAKES, and while amusing are only worth a dollar or two as a curiosity item. There is a long list of journal and newspaper articles pointing out that these are FAKES. The information seems to remain in the minds of the public about as long as it takes to turn the page.

I love that you used "miscreants" jobi01!
I'm thinking about throwing some old stamps on it and mailing to friend or family member. Wish there was a town named miscreant I cold post mark it from.
