I was looking at another post just now and realized I would like to have a copy of several of the stamps being shown. Unfortunately, the Scott #'s were not given and since I don't have worldwide catalogs I can't look them up.

PLEASE, when you show a stamp or cover please include the catalog number whenever possible. That way we know how to go searching for our very own copy!!

Thanks!

You know, that makes a lot of sense. Surprised no one mentioned it before.

Great Idea Greag

But I think some of us newbies don't have catalogues for every country so some may slip through the cracks.

Greg, can you post pics here, of any of the stamps you were interested in. Maybe the other members have spares they can send or at least identify them for you.

That's a good point about you not having catalogs either. Maybe we'll have to depend on the advanced worldwide collectors to help out.

Trigger - I was actually looking at your thread with the weirdly shaped Canadians, etc. when I ran into the problem.

I guess there are now two people who don't think I'm a real man - Don Bob and my ex-wife! Bob because I only have two volumes, and my ex-wife because . . . . well, I'd better not get into that!

Better men have all eight! You forgot the U.S. Specialised and the Classic Catalogue. I have all eight, plus.... SG Vol. 1 of the British Commonwealth.
