Below are the USPS 2014 CVP stamp labels for postal card, first class, international, parcel, priority and express mail rates from the USPS post office's self-service kiosk machines. Note, for some reason they have stopped identifying type of service on stamp even though chosen; also no pink stripe.

Upon placing UV lamp over these CVP stamp labels there is a florescent bar on far left side of label on each stamp. |

Acanalizo, I was in a town today where the Post Office has the Spiderman labels. I bought a sheet of ten, and on my labels the fluorescent bar is on the left side!

You are right, I had the stamp upside down when viewing. Thanks for correcting. |

Most APCs stopped with the pink stripe tagging on the labels/stamps back in 2013. Here's the 2013 Reindeer (Christmas) APC label/stamp that has no pink stripe, although you can readily see the (presumably yellow) tagging rectangle on the left side of each label/stamp: |

Jay Bigalke with Linns News has announced USPS will issue CVP (computer-vended postage) labels using the Rudolph theme and be sold through the Postal Service's self-service kiosks, also known as automated postal centers (APCs), in selected post office lobbies. The design or issue date for the Rudolph postage label has not been released. Christmas-theme computer-vended postage labels are typically placed into machines in mid-November and remain available through the end of December. Thanks wt1 for link! |

Update from Linn's about Rudolph vended postage: Jay Bigalke has announced the CVP stamp/label is to be issued Nov. 6 through some of the Postal Service's self-service kiosks, known previously as Automatic Postal Centers or APCs. They will be shipped to the post offices on Nov. 6 and can be loaded on that date, or no later than Nov. 15. Further info see: http://linns.com/news/breaking-stam...issued-Nov-6This appears to be a mockup photo of what some of the stamp may look like. |

Our local USPS self-service kiosk machine was finally loaded with the new 2014 Forever USA Flag stamp/labels that came out earlier this year. For some reason they kept the Spider-man II more than 3 months after they were directed to discontinue. The Flag APC stamp was to be used at APC locations where the booklet of 18 section of the Kiosk was not installed. Anyone unable to obtain these 2014 Flags can email me -not sure how long they will have them available because new Rudolph is supposed to be loaded between Nov 6-15th. Minimum purchase from USPS is 3 as shown below. |
