Been waiting for this. And I got my 50 posts.
MAH at ebay since they started that paypal/ credit card manure in October. I strictly pay by cash, check or money order.
was buying and selling on there since '98. Now, don't nail 'em, don't staple'em, -----'em. Will buy an occasional lot if
I can find a dealer than will still take a check or MO.(Have you noticed several of the really big dealers still list they take checks & MOs?)
I generally try to buy about 40% of my stuff on Stampoffers & 40% on Stampwants and a few items on Stamphead.
I sell on both Stampwants and Stampoffers. On Stampwants I'm "Stampaholic" and Stampoffers I'm "the-stampaholic".
Stampoffers is totally free. (Most the fees are voluntary and dealers will pay things just as a donation, just as here).
The chat room there is very friendly much as here also.
I have a store on Stampwants. the fee there is a small fraction of ebay and the management responds to Q's very promptly.
I get breakfast at IHOP.

Hey, the_stampaholic, most sellers will probably accept a money order, especially a postal money order. It's just that beginning in January saying so is a violation of ebay policy. You can always use the "Contact Seller" feature to ask. I've been asked.

No one in their right mind buys new issues from anyone other than the post office. Heck even I will get what you want and send it post free for 2009's.

Stampoffers.com and ebay are my two favorite choices but I use stampoffers more because I don't like to butt heads with other bidders. ebay, however, undoubtedly has the best selection in every category and it is much easier to find what you want. Some of the other websites that sell stamps are quite difficult to navigate and find what you want.

IHOBB? Suddenly I have a craving for pancakes and sausage.

I've gotten where I don't bid much on ebay, but if I can't find it anywhere else, I'll by directly from an ebay store.

Emailed one seller, told him I was an APS member, gave him my # and told him my feedback # on stampwants and he said fine a check or MO would be Ok.
Danged ebay policy irritates my colon. Almost as bad as the unsoluable glue.
BTW: any way to get a smiley holding one of those
old fashioned bombs with a lit fuse sticking out the top?

OK. I went to Stamp Offers and while it may take some getting used too I'll be back. The Search function definitely needs attention.

John, you are missing the point of the poll. It has to do
with online stamp auction sites where members can offer their
material for sale.
