HungaryForStamps....
rohumpy....
I understand. Why could the poster have replied....
I see "X"....does anyone else see "X".
Instead of...."I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't see something different"

I really don't see any fading but maybe it's just my monitor? I like how the cancel also makes old George look like he has a black eye (and perfin goggles) ha-ha! Please describe in more detail what we are supposed to be looking out for if you could? On a side note I really don't see any mention in the books about any anomalies with this particular issue with the exception of a deep violet shade but that's subjective at best. Cheers.

PS
No need to get all worked up. That's what the forum is for - To assist and gain knowledge.

First of all, Berta, I apologize...I will be asking the administrators to remove my name from SCF. I'm sure some will be glad to see me go..Here is the situation ,and I ask for no pity or sympathy because of it..I was diagnosed as a young age with eye problems..Some years ago I was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a disease in which there is no cure. Several months ag I was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia which prevents tries to prevent oxygen carried by the blood to different places in the body..You can check it out online. My retinas have been damaged so much that I have about a year of sight left, judging by the last 5 years...BTW, every time I post a stamp, it takes about 30-40 minutes, and it has taken me so far 30 minutes to type..As I said I do not need pity or sympathy..I meed you to understand, that what you can see with the naked eye I have to enlarge it to see it...For those who helped me, thnx..I just for those who have criticized me, that if the day should come when you begin to lose your eyesight, You will begin to understand what others like me has felt...I'had fun..Hopefully I'll find another stamp group that will accept me as I am...BTW, Wt1, to me your name looked like w11...

I can understand your predicament cul-lector, and, I know that your eyes can play tricks on you. I have cataracts, which I hope they can do something with in the not too distant future, and, they play tricks on me from time to time.

I have to say though, regarding the stamp you have scanned, I too fail to see any fading. However, keep posting what you feel are oddities and we will answer to the best of our abilities.

Cul_Lector, I don't think you should leave based on this single incident. Just continue to post and ignore those that have poor social skills. Or try the site that rhymes with "obama" - there's at least one other person there with vision problems from MS and quite an understanding group.

Everyone should feel free to post whatever they need help with philatelically on this forum without having anyone pass any judgement on them for doing so since there are different collectors on here at different levels in their stamp collecting. This is what makes this forum so interesting with so many different collectors helping each other. If someone has issues with what someone else is posting here or asking questions about here, then they can look for another topic that may interest them more instead of criticizing others for being on here and asking for our help. Please don't leave because of what has happened since there are many who appreciate your presence here on this forum.

Cul_lector,
One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch. This forum is to help people and you probably just caught someone on a bad day. Please don't be discouraged. Try again.
.....and to anyone having a bad day, you don't have to reply.

Cul_Lector's last posting should be humbling enough to all of us who are quick to jump and slow to back-track.

Cul Lector, I was the one that took issue with you typing W11. I thought you were doing so knowingly. wt1 responded not seeing anything and your response to wt1 came across as snappish.

I took no offense at the "w11" vs. "wt1" ... I figured it was simply a typo.
