Welcome Peg,

Hey, I appreciate the sense of humor.
Reminds me of one my daughter told me...

There's this mushroom trying to crash a party, but they wouldn't let him in. "Why not?"
he says - "I'm a FUN-GUY" !!

Arrrggghhh

well Dave... Iam afraid I can't use that one even though it gets a high corn rating and would have been a welcomed addition to my schtick...
So now you owe me one I can use....
Truth in advertising I trade stamps and corn!
doorbell rang round is over

David, I hail from the mountains where the air is clean enough to see the bald eagles fly and the deer browse on all garden plants and the black bear has fun climbing the tree in my backyard.

I live in Callicoon NY...You live on the St Lawrence seaway if I remember my travels right and there is a lighthouse in your town if I am in rare mental shape.

Wow, I didn't know that my whereabouts was so important as to be a point of conversation! LOL
Thanks for your interest

Well, folks thanks for the welcome and this is where it ends.
bobgggg Pillar Of The Community Looks like you will have to find another NYer as this one is of high enough quality and there seems to be a lurking fear that I might be trying to pull a fast one. God forbid I might just be excited about finding a nice place to trade used stamps.
So I will be lurking but not participating. So thanks for the welcome and thanks for the great conversations. Be well and goodbye
