Hi All

Please Id and value this Australian stamp for me. The colour is actually light orange although the photo doesn't show the colour that well.

My Ref 16

Many thanks

Radderfire,
A 'hi' and a welcome from another Brit.
Just a suggestion, why don't you post all your stamp queries in one thread. It would make it easier for all of us and be much less time consuming.

How about it ??

Regards
Londonbus1

Radderfire,

Hi..and I agree with Londonbus, limit the same type of questions
to the same thread. You will be saving valuable space on this site.

Second, may I suggest that you purchase a set of Stanley Gibbon's catalogues.

The information that the folks are giving you, is based on Scott catalogue numbers and values.

The UK catalogues its stamps using Stanley Gibbons # so the ID's that we are supplying are useless.

As an alternative, you can take your stamps, to your local library,
go to the reference section, and use their Gibbons catalogues, to
ID your stamps

Or you could use a combination of online catalogues to look them up.
This is what I do.
First I use Freestamp catalogue to find the picture, this gives me the year.. https://www.postbeeld.com/app?compo...on=T&sp=1937
Then I go to Stanley Gibbons and check the price... http://mycollection.stanleygibbons....1&country=28

Easy. Give it a go.

Steve
