I do hope this is a good place for a software question relating to US stamp values? Anyway...
I got the new Stamp Manage 2014 Update, and I notice that all the values for all the grade of single stamps are $.25. (modern stamps)
For instance; US 1409 Shows Mint VF at $.25 and Used-VG at $.25. See pics.

In 2012 there are different values for the different grades.

Anyone have a Scotts 2014 that can verify this? It's the same for many many modern stamps.

Yes, the 2014 Scott US Specialized shows 25-cents for both mint & used 1409. But for modern stamps, Scott only shows prices for VF stamps. In addition, 25-cents is the minimum catalog value for a stamp ... so the stamp in question is probably worth less than 25-cents.

Then I suppose that would apply to ALL modern stamps. A shame really, but great if I decided to insure my collections. I buy a lot of stamps on bidstart for 8 or 9 cents to fill holes with MNH specimens.
I imagined that the actual value would be less, but I did not expect a blanket valuation.

My 2014 Stamp Manage shows 21 cents MNH and 18 cents used VF
for 1409.
