If it had the plate number on it I would place a bid on it. But at $85.00 already, no thanks. As you said, its pretty rough.

I chase the imprint copies but I agree that $85.00 is too much for that one.

I agree that it's rare for the imprint to be so complete. I have some imprints on the 3-cent issues of this era (#11, #26), but have never acquired a 1-cent, perforated or imperforate, with an imprint for my collection.

I picked this one up a couple of months ago and if memory does not fail me I believe it was in the $50 - $60 range
