I'm looking at perhaps beginning a collection
of SAMPLE and SPECIMEN... I'm having difficulty
locating SAMPLE in my 2013 Scott... any help
would be appreciated...

Thanks...
Randall

There should be a section "SPECIMEN STAMPS" in your Scott US Specialized Catalogue. I also recall that there are "specimens" in the "OFFICIAL STAMPS" section ... catalog numbers are prefixed with a capital O & suffixed with a capital S. Don't know if there are any others.
Ahah ... you were asking about SAMPLE, not SPECIMEN. I don't recall seeing SAMPLE stamps in Scott, but that doesn't mean they aren't there somewhere.

Just looked in the "SPECIMEN STAMPS" section of my Scott ... there are some stamps labeled SAMPLE in that section. They begin around the year 1889.
