You are correct Kevin, 36P4 would be the perforated proof

It's probably (almost certainly) a Scott 44P4 card proof. Current (2014 Scott) catalog value = $60.

Already knew it wasn't a 36 (almost had to be a 17)...
didn't really see any reason to mention it, as most
(here) can see and recognize it's not any kind of a
36 at a glance...

As per Ken Srail... I guess color-wise anything is
possible... 44P4 calls out for 'greenish-black'...
which is a color I probably wouldn't be able to
recognize if I was viewing it in person...

Looking at it from what I see on my screen, it's
just 'black' and, I'm sure we can all agree that
colors can appear different from one puter screen
to the next...

Lastly... the only reason for posting it (here)
was to gawk at it... wish I owned it... (smiling)

I dislike the posts that just have a link with no information..makes search on site results "wonky".

Also, on these you can usually tell the correct scott number by looking at the upper left border/framelines.

For all intensive purposes, the 44P4 is "black" too. Here's a photo of a 40P4-47P4 set I currently have on my website. How "greenish" does that look to you?
