I've aquired, through inheritance, a quantity of Parcel Post stamps in vertical and horizontal strips of 2,3,and 4. I've checked my Scotts catalog for value and it only gives value on a block of 4. My Question is How do I get values on the strips? Do I take the value of a single stamp and multiply it by number of stamps in the strip? Also, is there a premium for the strip? Thank you in Advance for replys.

Sad to say there is more of a premium on blocks than there is on strips. Your best bet is just to multiply the stamp value by the number of stamps you have. Perhaps on a nicely centered, clean strip of 4 there could be some premium depending on the buyer. I have never seen a parcel post stamp multiple except in an exhibit.

Thank you for your reply, I wasn't sure how to value the stamps.
This is a pic of stamps, thought you may want to view.

Also keep in mind that stamps with straight edges (as in your scanned examples) typically are valued less than for stamps with perforations all around.

While there are some collectors who regard these as desirable, given that there are fewer stamps within a pane that would have straight edges, most collectors do not like them and would rather use straight edge stamps as a filler until a better example (with perforations all around) can be found.
