Is this a pre-printing fold/wrinkle?

Thanks... I can τΏτ it's a crease...

The question was (and I'll be a little
more specific)...

Does it appear to be pre-printing...
it's bubbled slightly on the left, and
creased more to the right, however the
ink is not disturbed/broken at any point
along the crease...

A fold will be able to seperate....
there will be unprinted area.

I have shown a #114 pre-print fold in another topic.
I have since sold it....so will have to look for the topic.

No need... I've seen it and others like it...

This stamp (appears) to have had the
wrinkle in it at time of printing...
the enlargement image I have shows
the valley of the crease on the right
(as well as all other points) inked...

Thanks again,KL...

I share Kevin's opinion. If it were pre-print, there would be no ink in the crease (it would be white on the inside).

It's not pre-printing. If it was a pre-printing paper fold you'd see a lack of printing in the wrinkle. Sadly, this is a badly creased stamp I'm afraid.

Thank you, Bill for chiming in...

I was looking at this stamp only
as a space filler, and planned on
removing the crease if it was not
a pre-print fold, and, of course
(not) removing the crease if it
was...

I'll now make the seller an offer...

Randall,

Pass. It should be considered to have a serious fault.

That's not a valuable enough stamp IMO to justify buying such a faulty copy.

Stamp is on its way to me... paid
a whole $10.00 for it... and when
I'm done with that crease, everyone
will be saying "that stamp had that
crease?" (wink)

I'll re-post when said crease is (*gone*)
