I thought I would add the Prominent Americans pre canceled varieties to my collection. I identified 16 different ones at modest prices in my Scott catalogue. I can only find 4 for sale on ebay or bid start. The rest seem to be non-existent. I guess I'll move on to something else.

Oh Dude you have to check out mystic, I filled in my collection over there real cheap. Just plug in your scott number in the search line and it gives you a few selections, I think...mint and used.

if you don't have credit card write them and they have an order form I think.

I wouldn't buy the pre-canceled stamps individually, except maybe the highest values, though I guess you could, unless you are a pre-cancel collector. That is, if you are just trying to get one copy of each stamp and not collecting all cancels for a particular stamp, they should be pretty easy to come by. I've acquired bazillions from breaking down other collections (I exaggerate of course). You could look for a pre-cancel collection/lot to purchase, buy kiloware, or visit other sites less auction-oriented for sales.

STAMPOCD: I started collecting the untagged bureau precancels from this series in late 2010. It took awhile, but I finally managed to obtain all of them. Thinking I might have some leftovers from my search, I checked the duplicate box & found a couple of coil pairs ... which I would be willing to let you have for free. Provided, of course, that I'm not violating some SCF rule. Also provided that there is some way to obtain addressing info without releasing it to the world. I remember making a similar offer on BidStart once ... big mistake. But that site is primarily geared toward selling whereas I think this one is not. In any case, if interested, let me know. Also, if this offer is a violation of forum rules, someone please enlighten me.
