There appears to be "shading" in and around much of the lettering in the stamp as well as the frame lines. Would this be a double transfer, a shift transfer or is it something else?
Yes, it does appear to be double transfer in some of the lettering on the left side of the stamp. I'm not sure whether this issue has as many different DT's as the Hudson-Fulton issue which has quite a few.
