I'm hoping the extra inking top and bottom on this stamp makes plating it easy for those that know. Or is it just an over inking anomaly?

stampcrow,

It is from plate 6 or 7. I can't tell which. As you suggested, the ink between the stamps is an inking variety rather than a plating variety. It looks to me that the paper was too damp when the sheet was printed.

darn it lol. Sorry CC, thought it might have been a plate variety. I need to get By Mr Chase and dig into these. I've accumulated enough that it would be worth it.
