So I have about 100+ assorted stamps from 1890-1950's. Took them in today a stamp collector today in Denver and he said all I had was junk?! I will post a few and you guys tell me, and yes putting them into a book today.
Unfortunately, this is an example of "stamp snobs" being discussed in another thread. Any stamps that old should be saved even if some call them "junk." I have some 100+ year old stamps that are common and damaged. I'm sure that same collector would be shocked I'm keeping them, but I've done my best to keep them from further damage.
