I see what may be a corner crease in the margin bottom left. The seller image is too small, failing to meet the 500 pixel minimum on the long size ebay guideline. It is safer not to buy from sellers who Grinch on the size of the image.

I agree, that corner is suspicious.

ClassicCoins....
I do not find $3 to be outrageous.
Remember....all ebay items must have tracking.
Thats not free.
Also PayPal take fees out of shipping charged.
If the seller ships without there is a possibility
of a non-receipt chargeback.
Also...if you think it is high, just dont bid.

Some people would rather see the stamp priced @ $33....
AND FREE SHIPPING.
Think they are getting a deal.
It is the same thing....

I think 3bucks for a single is a bit much especially sending single stamps that are not so valuable.

all ebay items don't have to have tracking.

to get tracking you have to have priority mail and for a letter that is around 6bucks. they don't send letters priority they sell you a priority envelope to put your letter into, that happened to me recently in my return train stamp I sent it priority in a letter for the tracking, no other tracking was available from the clerk I was using, I might add she is a real grouch but been with the postal service for decades lol she should know what is what.

if this is the same guy he has all his listings at 3bucks shipping which if sent regular mail is excessive and shipping gouging.

as far as don't buy if not satisfied with it, I wouldn't lol.

99cent stamps selling buy it now with 3 dollars shipping, say what, lol

http://www.uline.com/Cls_11/Envelopes-Mailers

6x9 mailers = 16¢ each

If you print your shipping label
in ebay or Paypal and select
FIRST CLASS, there is tracking
with EVERY shipment...

Up to 3oz is $1.93, 4oz=$2.01, 5oz=$2.09
and you can add insurance right from your
keyboard if the buyer opts to pay for it,
or you can require it at a given level and
state it in your listing...

No waiting on lines at the post office...
drop in a mailbox on the street or in
any depository at the post office...

If you ship with tracking you have ebay
Seller Protection built-in...

Then there's the ebay Fee and Paypal
fee on top of that... all said, $3.00
is *VERY* fair... *IF* a
seller uses the above method for shipping...

In the case of THIS seller, I doubt it...
they're making good money off of their
99¢ listings for sure... however, in the
case of the E1 it's equitable...

Disi123, No need to use those mailers for mailing stamps. Get Columbian 6x9 catalog mailers (kraft color) in quantity for about 6 cents each. Or, just use a legal (or regular) sized envelope. My personal "tracking threshold" as a seller is $10 USD. Above that, it goes in a rigid mailer with tracking. For lower priced stamps, use discount postage (usually available at 70% of face or lower), along with a cardboard stiffener, with a catalog envelope, regular envelope, or legal envelope. If I charged $3 S&H (which I generally don't), I would definitely use a rigid mailer with tracking... John

Hi, John... thanks for your input...
there's many different ways to ship,
different envelopes and different
costs... your 6¢ envelopes with a
cardboard stiffener is definitely
a lesser alternative...

When it comes to tracking, it most
definitely is "seller's choice" vs
potential risk... no question...

I went into greater detail because
one person whom commented stated
that one needed to ship by Priority
for about "6 bucks" to get tracking,
which is not correct...

what another said is incorrect what I said is correct when you go to the post office.

his way is another way there is no one way to do it lol.

what is the guy paranoid selling 99c items with 3 bucks shipping? even with a label who would want a single 99 cent item that bad to pay 300% more for it, it just in one school of thought don't make sense to some of us to others hey justify it all ya want to we get your drift, we git what he is saying label up thats cool and another way to go lol.

Larry... the point is you do not *need* to go
to the post office (in the classic sense) for
the sake of obtaining tracking, and you most
certainly do not need to send by Priority
unless either the buyer has specifically requested
Priority, or has paid sufficient funds to cover it,
(whereas the seller may opt for Priority if there
exists enough profit in the seller's mind)...

Bottomline... is you *never* need to send by
Priority for the sole purpose of obtaining tracking...

If you know how to use the systems and the tools
which are supplied, life can be alot easier...
