Hi, Warrior... I know where you're
going with this... (I'm sure you
meant to post in the 461 discussion
as opposed to (this) E1 discussion...

FYI... the post office works every
day of the year except for national
holidays, 24 hours a day...

good man K

now about your kans. nebr. overprints can we see pictures of your backs of those in your auctions I been reading up on those and the periods alignment along with the glue to look for fakes since they are highly faked. lol been meaning to ask but since your here. that would be a good topic in another thread

we could really chew the fat on what the internet gurus say on that topic, agree?

LarryBruce....
I have no back scans of Kans/Nebr ovpts....
This is a very easy topic.
Gum breakers???
Do you know what they are??
ALL Kans/Nebr ovpts will have 1 per stamp....
rarely 2...if spaced from top/bottm....but 1 is the norm.
GUM...all gum applied in a vertical direction from grooved rollers.

More than 1 breaker....cant be real.
Flat gum...cant be real.

After looking at thousands....I can just look at the
overprint (in person) and tell. It has a "overprint" (thus the name)
look....not a printed look.

Here is a good example....
look at the vertical gum ridges.

The 7c/9c look questionable....gum looks flat.
Overprint looks ok.
Maybe just the reflection from the scanner???
Maybe regummed???

you'll find plenty...

I should have been able to figure that out on my own. But thanks. I've long wondered where all the sellers I buy from get all the stamps they use on their mailings to me. If I ever start selling, I'll know where to get "discount postage."

so K why wouldn't people want to see the backs of your stamps? none of your auctions have a picture to see the glue?

Gum breaker ridges appear as horizontal ridges across the gum of mint stamps

LarryBruce....
If the gum is ok....why waste the time.
If it has a problem I describe it....
My feedback at ebay should be a testament
to my descriptions.
You can always return something if unhappy.

backscans with full trust in his
descriptions... happy camper here...

whatever but a picture is worth a thousand words. I believe you but I would want to see the back picture if buying, requesting such shouldn't be a problem if even for a training exercise to see the new og (original glue) on the back of your stamps to see the one gum breaker. I wouldn't buy unless I saw that and you may sell more if you showed it.

other issues some of the e's are closed that don't look good.

don't take it personal it is not about believing you or having someone vouch for you, which in your case isn't necessary or needed here, it is doing the time proven tests to determine fakes. isn't that what stamp smarter and this forum are always saying buyer beware and it is the buyer responsibility to check these things out.

why bother with the back picture ...because people want to know, who said the gum was ok, I didn't see it only you did the buyer needs to see it to make their own decision is why bother.

i also am reading on alignment parallel to the stamp frame squared they will not have any slant to the letters, haven't checked yours yet still reading on other tests, like the periods should not be under the r's and have their own spaces and this is a big one the back of the stamp needs to be seen to check for typewriter letter impressions fakes will be seen in the glue can't tell unless you see the back of the stamp.

plate block numbers-more info
http://www.apnss.org/KansNebr.htm

if you don't want to waste the time say so I will drop it, just discussing here.

i think there are fakes here especially the 3c lincoln top row right-many letters not clear and blobbed ends to them, the b's and r's on some. One is way below the stamp kinda sloppy.

Maybe you are correct....
BUT...my repeat customers are numerous....
they are happy, get good deal, fast shipping, etc...
Look at my last few feedback.....2 dealers left.

According to theswedishtiger....must be doing something correct.
Always top honors....even dealer of the year before.

i was looking at your overprints and wanted to see the backs, a person cannot tell if they are real until they see the back.
