I count 13 X 18 but being a newbie I need some help,no sense sending it to be looked at if I'm wrong, thanks, please help. This is the best picture my camera would take sorry. The upper right of the picture is glare but about 5 rows down you can see it's 13 wide, just not sure if it's 18 high, even here at home it's tough but I thought your guys would know from experience if it's a Z or not.

Sorry, but the photo is not good enough to tell. If you don't have a scanner, try taking a shot directly above the stamp not at an angle as you now have. The grill must be clearly seen in large detail to potentially id it.

These pictures are quite good but I had to downsize them because it won't let me upload the original size.
How do you do it with a scanner, won't it hurt the stamp ? |

stamp96... measure the grill as accurately as you can... from what I can tell, it should measure 9x13mm... It appears to be (maybe) a 12x17 F grill 92... (click for enlargement) |

Yea Kevin, it does appear to be the blue 1c. And to answer your question for my part; a winning lottery ticket! |

It measures a little over 11.5 mm by 13.5 + mm,I can clearly see 13 squares for sure but don't know if there are 17 or 18 high,my eyes play tricks, one time it's 17 then it's 18,I was hoping you guys could tell but it won't let me upload a bigger picture. If you look at it it does look narrow but that's because of the hinge glue making a glare.look about the middle of my picture on the right, you can see 2 extra squares there which I add up to 13. On the front of the stamp I can count 13 little straight line marks on the top of the grill running horizontal, this must be the top outside border,it's hard to see but there are there.Chances this is a Z grill I know are 1 in million but it's neat to think about it,my camera is old,it's a lot darker blue than this picture also. Going to bed,I'll check in tomorrow. |

If you're discussing a Z grill then the measurement and points can only be taken into account after it has been confirmed that the grill has horizontal ridges, a Z grill must have horizontal ridges and is the only grill with horizontal ridges. The one above has vertical ridges. |

Quote: it won't let me upload the original size. You can post a bigger picture if you crop closely around the stamp. That leaves a picture of stamp instead of a picture of background. |

It's an F grill almost certainly. That would make it a Scott #92. Hope this helps? |
