Here are three margin blocks of 4, each sign by the engraver, the lettering engraver and the designer of the 1934 Byrd Antartic Expedition. Are these common?

Depends what you mean by common. I collect the U.S. 1962 malaria issue and I have 2 blocks with signatures similar to what you have. I do not see these come on the market very often - every few years I think I paid $75-$150 (U.S. dollars) for each block. Can't remember.

Signed by designer and 2 engravers

Signed by the designer:

Henry Gitner (stamp dealer in the U.S.) has a few signed blocks of other stamps for sale below and these are signed by all three.

In my experience in the 30's it's more common to see the Postmaster General and/or the Assistant PM's signatures. Occasionally one sees Roosevelt's as well. Sometimes they are dated, usually the first day of issue.
