Re. the Peckmore etchings. Kupersmit just ran a set of these. Did you get them? I saw them and was tempted to bid, but the Parks issues are getting hot right now, and I thought it better to leave them for one of those specialists. I hope it was you. As for working them into a collection, that's certainly not a problem unless you want to exhibit competitively. Then you have to be rather clever about working them in so you don't lose points. In a traditional exhibit they are collateral. Non-competitively however, they do fine as a centerpiece intro for each denomination, which, I am sure, is how Harry Peckmore himself envisioned them.
Great looking stuff you've got there! |

tbirdfour, My what a beautiful collection. I really like the etches too. They just enhance a great collection you have. Did you print off your pages or are these in an album from Mystic Stamp Company?

TinMan, I could only find a National Parks Coin album from Mystic. At least currently available on their web site. I did find a public domain PDF of pages on the APS site that has pages provided by Mystic... http://stamps.org/userfiles/file/al...al_Parks.pdfNice pages but it covers modern stamps in addition to the issues of 1934. Unless you were thinking of something else entirely? |

tbirdfour I looked and couldn't find anything either. It may have been my imagination or another supplier? |

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example. I collect for enjoyment, not investment. APS Member #223433 Postmark Collectors Club Member #6333 Meter Stamp Society Member #1409 |

Out standing pages tbirdford! You have inspired me to do something similar with my collection of National park stamps. I especially love the covers and caches.

Yes Dan that is what I was thinking. But I thought it was in an Album by itself. This is just as good. Thanks. Chuck |

Thanks for the heads up about the Mystic pages. I am not sure how I would incorporate them into the Platinum album I am using but I do have the Mystic albums for my US used collection and I might just order them for that collection. Boy - this stamp collecting thing just never ends, does it? |
