Has The Revenue Association Disolved?

Have tried two times over the last 8 weeks to join the ARA. sent in application with a check twice and now have stopped payment on both since niether have clear in the 2 months. Have sent normal letters and tried to reach them thru their website contact us to no avail. Checked spam folder. nothing. Just wondering if there is something going on or has it been closed.

I just saw Bob Hohertz, who is the president of the ARA in Hartford. Everything is fine as far as I know.

Sadly, the ARA moves at a snail's pace on EVERYTHING, and that includes communication. It is a stagnant organization.

I emailed a link to this thread to Bob Hohertz. I had a similar issue when I joined the ARA a couple of years ago. In my case, I finally did get some action in response to an inquiry after hearing nothing for a couple of months.

I saw Bob before he left for Hartford and he told me for the umpteenth time that I needed to join, so I know the ARA is still active. Be patient he is a busy guy. I may see him Saturday and I will tell him of your frustration. He is a member of the Collectors Club here in Minnesota and he said he would be at the October meeting. If he is not at the show in St. Paul this weekend I will see him in a few weeks.
