The History of Wisconsin ...

... as told in postcards, but as disseminated by DVD ?!?

"Yesteryear's Washington Island" is by former Door County resident Richard Lauder "... [who] has also produced similar DVDs featuring the early postcards of Sturgeon Bay, Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, Baileys Harbor/Jacksonport, and Clark Lake."

"It's a rich, visual tour of Washington Island, tracing the many ferries of the Washington Island Ferry Lines, scenes at Gills Rock and Northport, Detroit Harbor, Jackson Harbor, Washington Harbor and its steamship and West Harbor and the early island's resorts,"

SPF of Bradford PA 'returns' from Cardiff UK

Peter Evans, the returnee (and de-accessioner?), is a senior library assistant at Cardiff Central Library in Wales.

The SPF (Souvenir Photo Foldout) included images of:

- Bradford PA: Armory Building, Hotel Holley, City Hospital, Carnegie Library, Post Office, Kinzua Bridge;

- Regional PA: Allegheny River, Quaker Run, Red House, Seneca Indians.

Also included were stand-alone postcards of the Nurses' Home, Elks Club and Presbyterian Church in Bradford.

Yes, Virginia, you can [right-click] and grab a sadly LoRes copy of the other-worldly "Oil scene in 1880 between Olean NY and Bradford PA".
