The perfs in image showing the top beside the right side are not matched as they should be
When I place this stamp beside a rotary press stamp it matches just right both the 11mm and the 10.5mm.
You say my stamp is not big enough to be a rotary press printing yet it measures exactly the same as the #596 rotary press printing
I say it is too big to be a flat plate printing just wondered if you know of another flat plate stamp that measures 19 1/4 x 22 1/5
I have measured this stamp with several types of rulers and I took it to a local stamp dealer who used some sort of a device the measurements may not be exact but they are extremely close and if anything they would be a little bigger not smaller.
I am just trying to figure this out to the best of my knowledge ..you guys are experts and I am not trying to argue with you but it dosent make sense to me why you want to call my stamp a flat plate printing when it is too big ..I understand there is a lot more to it then assuming this stamp I have could have been made of sheet waste like the #596 and I understand there would have to be a lot of research etc. but my question is... is the only reason you assume flat plate is because the stamp is too small to be rotary press ?
what about the fact that it is too big to be Flat plate
and what about the fact that there is a very similar stamp with the same measurements as mine ..why could mine not be made from sheet waste?
We can all see very clearly from your scan that the stamp is smaller than the 636's. Yes, that is why your stamp cannot be a rotary stamp. That and many other characteristics make it most definitely a 556.
I think that you are trolling us because of many reasons. You refuse to listen to logic. Your arguments seem to be constructed intentionally to make no sense. You also appear to be mocking me personally.
A few months back we had a member named CoinWatcher. He was from Canada. He argued in threads well past reason and ended up eventually switching names before he was banned. He frustrated a lot of people by his constant insisting that he had more rare stamps than he really did, even in the face of logic. In fact he sounded just like Belfastgirl does now.
