i have inherited a large collection of stamps majority of them are First day covers. where can I begin to sell them? I am really new to this, so please bear with me.

Hello Ev.....

Welcome to the club. Many folks sell on ebay and a few other sites. If you could post some pictures here we could offer opinions on where you might want to start. Also, we just like seeing material from other collections.

From what I know. you must have at least 50 posts and have been a member for 14 days before you can sell in the forums

Generally speaking, if the FDCs are common types from after 1935, then the most you will be able to sell them for on ebay would be about a dollar each (with some exceptions). Much less if you sell them together as one big lot. More if they have fancy cachets or are related to a popular topic such as Disney or baseball.
