I started collection when I was 10, 64 years ago. Quite a hiatus from collecting until I retired. I collect only postally-used stamps, but world-wide (cutoff issue date of 1970). I have 12 Minkus Master Global albums and over 12,000 mounted stamps (another 5000 or so unmounted). I'm interested in trading space-fillers with anyone. I will usually trade mint I have for the same used. I have too much junk (CTO's, PRC, etc.) already, so I'm not interested in those. By accident, I do have a lot of used Polish stamps. I'm also helping a recent widow to value and dispose of some of her late husband's extras - his collection has been appropriated by her son. Looking forward to hearing from anyone.

Welcome to our Stamp Community Family. Hopefully your retirement was by choice. I too started collecting at the age of 10.I find it a passive hobby that helps reduce a lot of stress and many times easily gives a feeling of accomplishment and very relaxing. Also, I learn a lot of history along the way. The Group's search engine works great and a good place to start and of course you can always ask or answer questions with other members.
