How To Determine Value Of Revenue Stamps On Documents.

How does one go about determining the value of Revenue Stamps on documents ? I know there are many things to consider but where to start ?

Usually there is not a large premium for stamps on document unless the document itself os valuable. Having said that, it is less common to find higher catalog value stamps on documents, since many were soaked off for collections, so the top two are certainly less common.
FYI-the bottom document is one of those "inland exchange" rates that was asked about yesterday. Five cents per hundred dollars or fraction.

It also depends if you're talking average ( ebay) retail or Eric/Richard retail. For the former, I would think that the first 2 documents are worth $100-200 each. Eric & Richard would likely price them somewhere north of full Scott.

I thought the dollar amount on the bottom document was unique, $666.66. I was assuming they were the "Covers" of the revenue world ?

These early 20th century documents are very common, the real problem is there is no way to tell which watermark they are without removing the stamps. The usual assumption is that they are the cheaper ones, which is almost always accurate. Especially with a sizable company in a major city. They normally retail in the $1-$2 range.
