I used a sheetlet of the Civil Rights Pioneers today on the box I sent to 1775mac. The postal clerk called them "Civil War" stamps.

There are no plate numbers on the sheetlet! I doubt we will see any more plate numbers on future issues. The phony plate numbers USPS began using recently were useless anyway. Plate numbers are history now.

What do you mean by recent plate numbers are useless?
