G'Day Gary this stamp came out in 1922 - 25 Scott's 557 (A 160)
in the catalogue they have a,b and c variations tho I don't know which one this is

I think this is my favorite next to that Blue Indian.

It could be one of four stamps; #557 - flat plate - perf 11x11, #602 - rotary per 10 vert, #586 - rotary, per 10 x 10 or #637 - rotary - perf 11 x 10.5.


There were 6.5 Billion regulars, 400 million pre cancel and around 81 million coils.

In addition there were 3 over prints.

Thanks MK,Sometimes its imposable to pinpoint the exact issue with some stamps but with this one I thought that I'd hit the nail on the head until you pointed out that there are 4 different stamps,Did over look the perf's which I tend to do from time to time,As you say this could be the #637 rotary with perf 11 X 10.5 and I would tend to support this idea
