I'm not an expert on the banknotes. However it is my understanding that there is basically one color which is carmine.
Now the 137 & 148 does not have the extra shading in the lower ribbon. The color on these is much brighter and rich looking than later Continental printings. The 159, 186 and 2008 have four lines of shading that have been overdone in the lower ribbon. The impression is weaker and it has a duller shade of carmine than the Nationals.
The other differences have to do with the H or I grill with no secret mark for the 137. Then you get into type of paper and secret marks to tell the difference between the 148, 159, 170, 186, 195 & 208.
Though of course if you use Scott they will show a 208 as a rose color and a dull rose color. Of course they also have a 208a shown as a deep brown red. Now there were 11M 208's printed by American all having the secret mark on porous paper.
All of these stamp will perf at 11.
In any event it looks like your having fun with the Lincoln bank notes.
If your interested there are premiums for magenta, purple, blue and red cancellations.
