In the last couple of days I have learned much (on this site) about identifying the Scott A10 perfed stamps.
This stamp I tucked away some time ago, TBD later. At that time, using the scotts catalog descriptions, I noted the the right side frame line ends. But I also noted that I couldn't determine if the left side did as well. On top of that, the line to the right of the right side perfs continues... so, I left it alone.

Having just learned about type IV's wandering lines, I revisited this stamp. The right side line has a noticeable bend.
Should I now be attempting to plate this as a Type IV?

That should be a Type IV. Can you post a better image of the entire stamp? or email me a 1200dpi scan?

I'm sorry, I don't have a scanner, that works. Not sure if this is any better.

That's a little better. Photos can be tough to use because the scale of the image isn't constant.

Your stamp is indeed a Type IV, Scott #26A, position 61R10. There are three states for both Plates 10 and 11, early, intermediate, and late. I am not sure which state yours is. I think it is early, might be intermediate, almost certainly not late. The line at left on your stamp is the centerline of the plate and is continuous from top to bottom.

Thanks sinclair2010. I thought I had read, that type IV was plate 10 and 11. Steven Ruecker's site only illustrates 8 plates.
